This blog is dedicated to the rockband The Crash from Czech republic, which has existed since 1968 till 1971 and played mostly music from the late sixties and early seventies. In 2010, after more than 40 years the members of the band came together and again started from where they stopped in 1971. Almost complete original group was together up to 2012. Currently they play on regular basis whenever there is interest for their music. Only one original member of the band is left, namely Tomáš Stabenow - accompanying guitar. Solo guitarist Láďa Biela joined the group in 2011. New drummer Milan Bačo joined band again in 2019. He used to play with The Crash durig years 1969-1971. Latest member who joined the band in november 2019 is the bass guitarist Zdeněk Pejsar. Aim of the band is to play music of those great bygone days. Beatový Festival v Plzni 1969

V březnu 1969 se kapela The Crash zůčastnila Západočeského beatového festivalu v Plzni, kde také hráli například Johny & They ze Sokolova nebo skupina Moser Band. Nová sestava The Crash, která byla v té době spolu teprve tři měsíce, se přesto tehdy umístila na slušném sedmém místě ze sedmnácti kapel. V časopise Aktuality melodie č.7 z 31. března 1969 se o účasti The Crash na festivalu psalo jako o dobře šlapající kapele, avšak skutečnost, že měla dva zpěváky se jim zdála neobvyklá. Jakmile se nám podaří sehnat toto číslo Aktualit Melodie, rádi pak celý článek zveřejníme. Na přiložené fotce je kapela The Crash na Plzeňském náměstí.
